Christmas Vacation Begins.
We woke this morning to a layer of ice covering everything. Our trees are glistening with ice that threatens to break their branches. The rain has not stopped and hopefully we will not lose our electric.
The roads are slick and traffic is moving at a snail pace. The local schools have closed and the children have been given an early start on their Christmas vacations.
We are hurriedly trying to finish up are Christmas shopping. Gifts are waiting to wrapped. The children have been snooping in every corner hoping to find their Christmas presents.
Christmas is coming quickly whether we are ready for it or not.
